Course Description

Business success depends on right decisions taken at the right time. Right decisions are those that optimize business value by identifying efficiency killers while simultaneously providing insights required for maximizing competitive advantage.  Analytics is the powerhouse for such “right decisions”.  The primary objective of this course is to equip participants with the techniques that are most commonly employed in the analysis of large volumes of data, and in the extraction of knowledge from this data, as well as in making decisions based on the knowledge acquired. In general, the key objectives of this course are two-fold: (1) to teach the fundamental concepts of data mining and (2) to provide extensive hands-on experience in applying the techniques to real-world business problems.
